As the Killingworth Democratic Town Committee seeks to broaden and engage its base, we send out this invitation for energized involvement. Anyone interested in being considered for Democratic endorsement to current or future town appointed volunteer positions or elected municipal positions is invited to attend one of our meetings. They can also contact the Nominations Committee chair - Arlene Tunney at 663-2446 or Michael Sanders at 663-1231.

Attend a KDTC meeting.
The Killingworth Democratic Town Committee usually meets the first Sunday night of each month at 7:00 PM at the library, but dates sometimes vary. When you plan to attend please double-check with committee chair Mike Sanders. Democrats and Unaffiliated voters interested in participating in the Democratic Town Committee are invited to attend.

Join the Democratic Party.
We cordially invite you to become a registered Democrat. A trip to the Town Office Building to fill out a simple form is all it takes. In return you will be able to help formulate the choices offered to us all as we confront the challenges that Killingworth faces today and tomorrow, instead of merely vetoing someone else's idea of a solution.

Participate in town affairs.
Killingworth is governed by decisions made by its residents at Town Meetings. The power is in your hands, but only if you use it. Keep up with town issues and be sure to attend Town Meetings whenever they are called.

Killingworth also depends on volunteers to do the work of our committees, boards and commissions. All meetings are open to the public, and the best way to introduce yourself to the process is to attend as a visitor. Schedules are published in the Killingworth Krier, on Killingworth Today and are available at the Town Office Building.

Help out at the polls.
If you are a registered Democrat and interested in occasional employment working the polls at the November elections or future referendums, please contact the Democratic Registrar, Betty Dennis, at her home 663-0204 or office 663-4048.
